| Comments: Defense much improved this week. We are starting to look like a team. Nick Jones scored our only TD on a 9 yard run. We had one TC called back on a motion call. | |||

| Comments: We had a good week of practice but the real EHS team didn't show up. Chico dominated from the get go. We need to develop a "Game Attitude". | |||
| Enterprise vs. Lassen | E.H.S - 20 | Lassen - 26 | 9/28/96 |
| Comments: EHS offense showed up this week. We moved the ball well. Defense played very well. Those long passes and a kick off return was enough for Lassen to win. Doug Cox scored 2 TDs and Kris Johnson scored 1 TD. | |||

| Comments: We brought out game attitude with us this week. Shasta scored on a kickoff return. Other than that it wasn't even close. Great defense and a ball controll offense shut Shasta down. We will miss Doug Coz. Doug played his last game for EHS. Doug and his family are moving to Bend, Oregon. He scored one TD and intercepted a pass to set up another TD. Thanks for your leadership Doug. | |||

| Comments: A 26 yard Colin Davis field goal with 3 minute remaining in the game was the final blow in a great smash mouth Foothill game. Nick Jones scored in 3rd quarter one 6 yard run to make the score 6-7. Hornets defense was in total control. How sweet it is!!! | |||

| Comments: Cal Garo scored all of the Hornets touchdowns and guided the offense to a higher level. A kick off return and two long passes kept CV close. Kurt Hoyer and David Ray played very well at Line Backer. | |||

| Comments: Rain, wind, cold and a stubborn Yreka defense added up to defeat for the EHS Frosh Football team. Cal Gero scored on a QB sneak in the 2nd quarter. Adam Stone broke for 65 yds later in the same quarter. | |||

| Comments: Tough loss - Victory was in our hands and it slipped away. Great team effort. 80 yard run by Adam Stone set up by Cal Garo T.D. sneek. Garo passed Ryan Clayton set up a Nick Jones T.D. Great defensive play by Clayton saved the day for EHS several times. Stand tall Hornets! | |||

| Comments: We played them tough most of the game. Big players and injuries took their toll. Everyone played a lot. It's been a fun season. Lots of learning and growing. | |||
