Dick Lamoureaux

1963-1971

Dick Lamoureaux attended or coached EHS for about 8 years, As his sophmore year he participated in the the J.V basketball team of '63. He had also participated in Track, Football, and Baseball. He had participated in those sports until his senior year. We are honoring him for J.V Footbal Champions'70, J.V Baseball champions '64. Also Varsity Basketball Champions '64-65, '67-68, '68-69.

 

Jim Sinyard

1960

Jim Sinyard was th first "Superstar" at EHS. He compleated in Football, Basketball, and Track. As a Freshman he played on the JV Football, Basketball, and Track team. During Senior year he finished the season as #2 rusher in the North Section. He earned an "Full Ride" scholorship to Oregan State University where he played for three season. Jim return to the"Nest" in 1963 to teach and coach before the military. But he returned after 2 years and teach and coached for the next 32 years before retiring in 2003.  

Mike Moynahan

1964

Mike was an outstanding athlete and coach for the hornents.While EHS mike participated in track,gymnastic, and wrestling, he also played football in his senior year. After earning his teaching degree, he return to EHS to coach the hornets track team. The Enterprise community stadium is named "Moynahan Filed" for his coaching effort.  

Monte Fitchett

1969-2003

Monte came to EHS in 1969 as a social science teacherand a football, basketball coach. He later coached hornets JV football team to an undefeated league championship season. He soon steppted down after 1979-80 season. But Monte continue ti assist Mike Moynahan with cross country and track team. Later Monte return to the hardwood, but this time he was teaching the Hornets Girl program.  

Jim Schwerdt

1965

Jim Schwerdt began hie career as a freshman in 1961. He was an outstanding athlete in football, basketball, and baseball.During his senior season, enterprise won the NAL title and finished with a 12-1 overall record. Jim was named the all NAL team as a shrotstop. On the Basketball court is where Jim enjoyed his most sucess. He return to coaching and tought the Hornets in 1971.  

Jim Foss

1966

Another three-sport athlete at Enterprise, Jim Foss lettered in football, basketball, and baseball For the Hornets. During his junior season, Jim stared fot the Hornets football team both on offence and defense. Jim also started for two season on the EHS varsity basketball team. Jim help lead the Hornets to the NAL title as the team leading Rebounding. As a senior first baseman, Jim battle over 600 that sseason and was named to a third all league team.  

Gary Lewis

1968

Gary Lewis had an outstanding high career for the Hornets. As a freshman, sophomore and junior Gary competesin basketball and track. As a senior he expanded his participation onto the gridiron on the football field. Gary set Hornets School record in both the 120-yard high hurdle and the 180-yard low hurdles. Gary also served as students ASB president in 1967-68. Gary later attended University Of Pacific, and soon returned to Redding and coached cross-counrty and Track at shasta college for 21 years.
