Dan Neece and Deborah Divine
Dan Neece:
Daniel Neece is a graduate of California State Long Beach where he majored
in both instrumental and vocal music. He graduated with distinction from California
University at Chico where he received his Master’s of Arts degree. He
holds life credentials in music and mathematics. He is a member of the International
Association of Jazz Educators, the California Band Director’s Association
and the Music Educator’s National Conference. He is currently the Vice
President in the California Music Educator’s Association.
Mr. Neece has traveled with his Enterprise Groups throughout California, Nevada,
Oregon, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, Virginia, New York, Hawaii and Mexico.
European tours include France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Holland. His
students have participated in several north state as well as all state honor
bands. Enterprise bands and show choir have taken numerous awards throughout
California, Nevada, and Canada. The EHS symphonic band, Jazz bands and show
choir has received consistent superior ratings for the past 20 years.
Dan Neece is an instrumental, vocal, arranger and composer and is in demand
as a clinician and adjudicator. He has been awarded several times for musical
achievements and was named “California Music Educator of the year”
by the California Music Educator’s Association. This year he was named
the Redding East Rotary teacher of the year and was most recently named the
Shasta County Teacher of the year for 2005.
